The Kau Hospital on the Big Island hired Air Filters Hawaii to evaluate their facility and we installed IQAir Chemisorber filters in their operating rooms, waiting room, cafeteria and office areas.

The Reipurth residence in Hilo was gutted for moister and mold problems associated with its oceanfront location. It is being renovated to protect the home from oceanfront moisture using dehumidification and air purification. We recently completed a very successful installation for the Kulani Correctional Center. Twenty five IQAir VOG filters were installed across 8 buildings and 25,000 sq ft of space. The National Park Service located at the Volcanoes National Park purchased a GC Chemisorber for their offices.
The Hilo King Kamehameha School has requested proposals from Air Filters Hawaii for custom made high volume vog filters for two 7,000 sq ft cafeterias with 20 ft ceilings to be used as vog safe rooms for 1,700 students, faculty and staff. The proposed designs will create 12,000 cubic feet per minute per room of purified air totaling five air changes per hour.
The Moore Residence in Olowalu, Maui is being renovated to remove moisture problems associated with its oceanfront location. Air Filters Hawaii is optimizing the indoor air quality in this home by using Perfect 16 whole house in-duct filters, in-duct dehumidifiers and GC Multigas filters for vog.
Air Filters Hawaii designed a vog safe Library for the Keaau High School, on the Big Island. The design has been accepted by the school and the school is awaiting funding to purchase installation of the filters.
